Several years ago, Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center (AAIC), located in Minneapolis, MN, embarked on a multi-phased addition project to accommodate their growing community. The top priority for this organization was a new gymnasium for their growing school, AIM Academy. G5 Construction, alongside the architecture and design assistance of Mohagen Hansen, supported the construction management and oversaw the construction of the most prominent Islamic Center addition in the Twin Cities. In total, the industrial warehouse building transformed into a 24,300 SF school with a 6,500 SF gymnasium addition. The AAIC is now the largest Islamic center in the Twin Cities!
